The heat in human bodies is produced/ generated by the activities within the body such as respiration, metabolic activities, blood circulation etc. The heat regulation is controlled by a part of the brain called hypothalamus; cold or heat signals are sent to the brain through the nervous system and the circulatory system that lead to adjustment in a process refered to as homeostasis. When the human body dies, all the systems stop therefore no more heat regulation hence the body temperature go low.
