What is the most fun thing you've done?
While my professional journey has been filled with meaningful academic, research, and leadership achievements, the most fun thing I’ve done blends passion, innovation, and youthful energy: serving as Head Judge in the Technology Category for Young Scientists Kenya (YSK). This role has been exceptionally rewarding because it allows me to: Engage directly with brilliant and curious young minds across Kenya, Witness groundbreaking, often surprisingly practical innovations from high school students, Mentor and encourage creativity in STEM, and Help foster a culture of innovation and problem-solving early in life.
If you had 3 wishes for yourself what would they be? - be honest!
1. Establish a Center of Excellence in Digital Innovation and AI for Africa, 2. Mentor and Graduate 30+ PhDs in Tech Across Africa, 3. Lead Kenya’s or Africa’s National Policy on Digital Transformation or Education Technology
