I did my attachment at the Kenya Institute of Primate Research then for my internship moved to the Kenya Medical Research Institute where i work till date as a laboratory scientist.

How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
Curious, dedicated, compassionate
What was your favourite subject at school?
Biology – I loved learning about how the human body works and the invisible world of microbes.
What did you want to be after you left school?
so at first i wanted to be a lawyer then missed the KUCCPS dates.By the time i was making the applications no law slots were available and a girl found herself in biochemistry ,a name she heard from a TV program.
Were you ever in trouble at school?
Not individually.I always in class trouble .
If you weren't a scientist, what would you be?
A designer I guess.
Who is your favourite singer or band?
I have a few; Nyashinki, Bien, Serro, Mutoriah.
What's your favourite food?
Chicken curry with Ugali.
What is the most fun thing you've done?
Quad biking
If you had 3 wishes for yourself what would they be? - be honest!
To contribute to a major discovery in infectious disease or cancer research. To pursue a Master's and PhD in molecular medicine or bioinformatics. To mentor and inspire young African scientists, especially girls.

Why did the biochemist break up with the physicist? Because they lacked chemistry!
