      Hey,
🔍 In Emphysema, the Key Structures Affected Are:

      1. Alveoli (Air Sacs) – These tiny grape-like sacs in the lungs are destroyed or enlarged, reducing surface area for gas exchange. 🫁❌

      2. Alveolar Walls – The elastic fibers and walls break down, causing the lungs to lose their stretchiness (elastic recoil).

      3. Capillary Network – The blood vessels surrounding alveoli are reduced or damaged, limiting oxygen uptake into the blood. 💉❌

      4. Bronchioles (Small Airways) – These may collapse during exhalation, trapping air in the lungs. 😤
