  There are three things that really helped me:
  
  I identified my weak subjects and asked for help .I talked to classmates and teachers regularly so I could understand and improve.
  
  I also focused on my strong subjects. I worked hard to score highly in them so they could help boost my overall grade.
  
  I spoke to a mentor, someone who believed in me and encouraged me. That gave me the confidence to believe in myself too.
