0 Question: what leads to voice production in animals Keywords: voice Asked by very20fen to Arnold, Edna, Elkana, Gliday, Jacinta, Michael, Mike, Mmboyi, Sally on 17 Jul 2025.
Jacinta Nzilani answered on 17 Jul 2025:
Hey!
In animals, voice production happens like this:
Air from the lungs is exhaled.
It passes through the larynx (or syrinx in birds).
Vocal cords (or membranes) vibrate to create sound.
The sound is shaped by the mouth, throat, and nose.
All this is controlled by the brain. 🐾
