Heart valves are like traffic cops inside your heart. They make sure blood flows in the right direction.

There are 4 main valves in the heart:

1.Tricuspid Valve 🧤 (Right side)

Between the right atrium and right ventricle

Function: Lets blood flow from the top chamber to the bottom, then shuts it like “No reverse!” 🚫🔁

2.Pulmonary Valve 🌬️

Between the right ventricle and pulmonary artery

Function: Sends blood to the lungs to collect oxygen 🫁.

3.Mitral (Bicuspid) Valve 💌

Between the left atrium and left ventricle

Function: Passes oxygen-rich blood downwards .

4.Aortic Valve 🚀

Between the left ventricle and aorta
