Biochemistry is the study of the chemical processes and substances within and relating to living organisms. It explores the structures, interactions, and functions of biomolecules like proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, and lipids, and how these molecules contribute to the complex chemical reactions and processes that drive life. Essentially, it’s the chemistry of life at the molecular level.
