      No, a child cannot develop albinism if neither parent carries the albinism gene. Albinism is a genetic condition, and for most types, it requires both parents to be carriers of the albinism gene to pass it on to their child. If both parents carry the gene, there’s a 25% chance at each pregnancy that their child will be born with albinism. However, if only one parent carries the gene, the child will not have albinism, though they will be a carrier.
