  In my field, which is Economics, you can become a scientist by studying step by step. First, you do a Bachelor’s degree, which takes about 4 years. Then you can do a Master’s degree for about 2 more years. After that, you can go for a PhD, which takes around 3 to 4 years. That is how you become a researcher or expert in Economics.
