Question: How many sciences should a student take in high school

Depends with what you want to do. Biology and Chemistry are needed if you want o pursue biological and chemical sciences. You might need physics if your univeristy course requires it. Something like engineering.

It depends on what you want to study in the future. Some courses need all three sciences, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, while others only need two. In my school, we had to take at least two. Once you have an idea of what you want to do, feel free to share, and I can give you better advice.
