I am currently doing mine and I got in through applying to different projects and institutions for a full scholarship and luckily I got one. My journey to a PhD is, I first did an undergraduate degree then I proceeded to do a Masters degree and now I am doing a PhD. In some countries a Masters degree isn’t necessary so you can go from a degree satrit to PhD without a masters.
Just work your way up the academic ladder and you will get here eventually👊🏿.
First, I worked hard and passed my high school exams. Then I went on to do my bachelor’s and master’s degrees here in Kenya.
After that, I wanted to gain international experience. I saw a PhD scholarship opportunity in the Netherlands. It was very competitive, but I gave it my best and believed in myself — and I was selected!
To get into a PhD program, you generally need a strong academic record, including a relevant bachelor’s and often a master’s degree, and a compelling research proposal. You’ll also need to demonstrate research experience and secure strong letters of recommendation.
