Question: What things did you do and efforts you made to become a scientist? What are the qualifications of one becoming a scientists? How should I perform in science for me to become a scientist? For I am so much interested. What do you do as a scientist to ensure conservation of the environment suitable for human health?

Although I hadn’t initially considered a career in biosciences, my strong performance in the sciences Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics (at least scoring Bs) encouraged me to give science a shot. As for environmental conservation, I believe with time and experience, you will figure out the best way to contribute effectively.

First, I had to score high grades (A-/As) in all sciences and Maths to be able to get a slot in BSc Biochemistry in the University. Different universities have different grade cut-offs therefore always check the cutoffs for where and what you want to study.
As a scientist, doing sustainable things that help conserve the environment is one of our key areas of research practice. We work with chemicals that might harm or destroy both the environment and human health and we must always ensure these are handled or discarded safely, reduce plastic usage and waste into the environment and be good ambassadors of environment conservation not just at work but in school and at home. Environment conservation is a collective effort and even you at school can help us do it and continue to embrace it when you become a scientist.

To become a good scientist you require strong academic abilities, an innovative mind and openness to learn without an end. Science is diverse (plant science, animal science machine science, data science, human science) . Technically any subject can be a science.The preriquisite subjects for mainstream sciences include mathematics, chemistry biology and languages that faciltate clear science communication.

I dreamt of becoming a scientist, and I worked smart in school by aiming for high grades. I also looked for mentors who encouraged and guided me on this journey.Answer to second question

I study how climate change affects people who depend on farming and fishing for their daily living. I also look at what they are doing to reduce the impact of climate change. When I do research, I take time to talk to them about the importance of not cutting down trees and why planting trees helps protect both the environment and human health. I also recommend ways that they can protect themselves from climate change without destructing the environment.
