Michael Kimwele answered on 17 Jul 2025:

Several diseases are primarily kidney-specific or predominantly impact the kidneys. These include chronic kidney disease (CKD), acute kidney injury (AKI), kidney stones, kidney infections, kidney cysts, and kidney cancer. Additionally, there are genetic conditions like polycystic kidney disease (PKD) and Fabry disease that primarily affect the kidneys.
