To become a doctor, you need to focus on excelling in sciences—especially biology, chemistry, and physics—starting in high school, and aim for top grades to qualify for medical school. After high school, you must complete a pre-medical undergraduate program or equivalent, followed by admission into an accredited medical school through a competitive process that often involves entrance exams and interviews. During medical school, you will undergo several years of rigorous academic and clinical training. After graduation, you must complete an internship and residency in a hospital, and pass licensing exams required in your country.
